What makes Maminka products safer for little ones?
We carefully choose every material — substrate, inks, and packages — based on what we can verify and stand behind.
Wallpaper: Printed with HP Latex inks, which are Greenguard Gold certified for indoor air quality. Water-based, odourless, and solvent-free — free from hazardous air pollutants and PVC.
Wall Stickers: Made on PVC-free polyester fabric, free from phthalates and formaldehyde, and printed with non-toxic, water-based pigment inks.
Art Prints: Produced on 100% alpha-cellulose paper — a plant-derived, plastic-free material — printed with non-toxic, water-based pigment inks.
All our products are designed with nurseries and children's rooms in mind, and proudly printed in the UK.
Why is PVC-free important in children's wall decor?
PVC is a type of plastic often used in low-cost wall decals or vinyl wallpaper. To make it soft and flexible, manufacturers often add phthalates - chemicals that can slowly leach into your home’s air and dust. Studies show phthalates like DEHP can disrupt children’s hormones, affecting brain development, metabolism, fertility, and even increasing cancer risk.
Beyond the health concerns, most PVC products- especially soft, flexible ones - are rarely recycled due to safety, cost, and processing challenges. This contributes significantly to long-term plastic pollution.
At Maminka, we never use PVC in any part of our wall stickers or wallpapers- because your child’s health and the planet matter.
Ordering & Returns
Can I return wall stickers?
Yes, if you're not completely happy with your wall stickers, you can return them within 30 days of delivery for a full refund.

Can I return wallpaper?
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns of wallpaper as all wallpapers are made to order.
We strongly recommend ordering a sample first to ensure you're happy with the colour, design, and material before placing a full order.

What are the delivery costs?
UK: Free shipping on all products.
EU: Shipping costs vary depending on the product.
Once your order is dispatched, we’ll send you a confirmation email with tracking information.

Can I change or cancel my order?
We aim to process orders as quickly as possible, so cancellations may not be possible once an order is placed.
